Thank you for sharing with all of us. I was intrigued by the original recipe offered in the ovenly cookbook, via food52. It's not the only chocolate chip cookie recipe i'll use, but when you want a big, fat, chewy cookie, this is awesome. The center of the cookies had this amazing soft center and the crispy around the edges. (except, of course, for the few you just can't resist eating right out of the oven.)
I will be baking endless batches of these babies.

(i may have a convection oven and not know it,) but after i saw that i added the extra 1/4 cup (i started with the minimum suggested all purpose flour, then when i saw that i added in the extra flour).
